Overview

DishLog is a minimal cooking habit tracker that runs entirely on your device. Your data never leaves your phone. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no cloud sync — by design.


What We Collect

Data stored locally on your device

DishLog stores the following only on your device:

Where Your Data Lives

All data is stored locally on your device and never sent to any server or cloud service. DishLog has no backend. There is nothing to sync, breach, or leak.

You have full ownership and control over your data at all times.


Third-Party Components

DishLog uses the following third-party packages, all operating locally on your device:

Google Mobile Ads

Used to display ads within the app. Google's SDK may collect anonymous, device-level signals for ad targeting purposes. This information is handled entirely by Google and is not linked to your cooking data in any way. You can manage ad personalization in your device settings.

File Picker

Used to select files from your device for data import. It does not transmit any files or data to external servers.

Package Info Plus

Used to read the app's version number for display purposes. It does not collect or transmit any data.


Security

Your data is protected by your device's operating system security model. DishLog does not transmit your data over any network.

To keep your data secure:


Deleting Your Data

DishLog retains no data beyond what exists on your device. When the app is deleted, the data is gone.

DishLog does not process personal data on any server, so there is nothing to request from us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we may display an in-app notice.

Continued use of DishLog after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
